Sergeant Wharf’s

Tradition and culture within the North End of Boston is substantially due to the migration patterns from different groups of individuals. The Irish, Jewish, Portuguese, and Italian Heritage is what crafted the North End. Merging simultaneously and within similar time frames these cultures influenced each other and the city. Creating a relationship between these specific cultures and current ones would require breaking the traditional timeline exposing how related these cultures were and what they valued the most. Displaying this relationship of past, present, and what could be next within the North End is something the museum would plan on exploring, as well as approaching this order of time in a more holistic manner showing how they all corelate to each other and continue to affect each other and other cultures within the area.
